if i had more time on my hands, i would make that happen for halloween. instead i'm working 8-4 five days a week at barnes and noble. other than the lack of a halloween this year, i don't mind working there. i have a job that encourages me to read and talk about it at work. i meet weirdos on the daily. and the possibility for a missed connection is colossal. so far, i'm stoked.
ps. i'm just tickled pink that i was able to say goodbye to summer properly today. i spent the last hot day of the season sizzling on the sands watching fiddler crabs make dens and old men waddle the shoreline with their metal detectors. summer, it's been real, but i'm itching for that fall jacket!
